What is the process in arranging for an in-home care service?

Call us at (859) 334-0810 or e-mail us at info@HHNKY.com to arrange a FREE in-home assessment.  We will then meet with you to discuss individual needs, schedule, routine, and preferences.  Then it is as simple as assigning an aide for your care and scheduling a date to begin services.

What can I expect during my in-home consultation?
We will work with your schedule in setting up your in-home consultation.  Our policy is to assist with new service requests within three business days.  We will discuss your individual requests and needs.  We will also discuss your overall goals and set up a care plan to implement during our visits.
What is a non-medical care?
Non medical care relates to activities such as bathing, grooming, exercises, medication reminders, home care, light housekeeping, respite for family caregivers and other personal needs.
How soon will I receive the services I requested?
We will work with you to set up a start date for services that work with your individual needs.
What if I do not like the caregiver assigned to me?
We consider your personal requests and try to match a caregiver with you that meets your needs.  If you’re unhappy, we will be happy to find someone else that fits your needs.  We generally try to schedule the same caregiver for your (or your family member’s) care.  We have found that to work the best as, over time, the caregiver better knows you, your family, your habits and your needs.
How do I make a payment?
We accept a variety of payments including personal checks, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard and Discover), Money Orders, and Cashier’s checks.  We will send you an invoice which will outline the services you are being billed for, the price and when the payment is due.
